During the use of centrifugal pumps, there is often a problem of loud noise, which is also a headache for many users. So how to solve it?
1. Noise caused by imbalanced impeller of water pumps. Some water pumps have been used for a long time, and the impeller may be damaged by debris sucked into the pump chamber, or other reasons may cause the impeller to lose balance. The left is light and the right is heavy, and the head is heavy and the feet are light. At this time, when the motor is running at high speed, the bearing strength of the motor bearings may vary, resulting in noise. At the same time, the motor shaft may also be affected by the imbalanced impeller to be not concentric, causing noise
2. Noise caused by bearing damage. Some customers install water pumps outdoors and use them without any cover. Rainwater will be sucked in by the fan blades from the motor hood. If it enters the bearing room of the motor rear cover, it will oxidize and rust the bearings, and the bearing balls will no longer be smooth, causing mechanical noise. If installed indoors, this problem generally does not occur, but there is another situation. If the mechanical seal is not replaced in a timely manner and used without stopping the machine and turning off the water, the mechanical seal will lose its sealing effect. During the operation of the water pump, there is pressure in the pump chamber, which causes water to spray out of the pump body. In a short period of time, the water retaining ring on the motor shaft can protect the motor bearings from water intrusion. However, if more water sprays into the bearing chamber, it will also damage the bearings.
3. The noise caused by improper installation of the centrifugal pump should be level, stable, and sturdy during installation. Flat refers to being level, and the bottom foot of the water pump should be kept level and not tilted. Stable refers to being stable and not loose or wobbly. Strong refers to the installation foundation must be solid, stable, and not suspended on one side of the ground.
