Installation depth of submersible pumps

Leave a message

The submersible pump generally does not exceed 70 meters below the calm water surface.
1. The inlet of the submersible pump must be below the dynamic water level by 1 meter, but the diving depth must not exceed 70 meters below the static water level. The lower end of the motor should be at least 1 meter away from the bottom of the well.
2. The motor with a rated power of less than or equal to 15kw (25kw when the power supply is allowed) should be started at full voltage.
Generally, submersible pumps are marked with the maximum depth that can be inserted into the water, and such data should not be exceeded. If this data is not indicated, minimize the depth of infiltration as much as possible while ensuring water absorption. If it is a long axis submersible pump, it is not constrained by depth, as long as it does not flood the electric motor.
The biggest feature of a submersible pump is the integration of an electric motor and a pump. It is a type of pump that is immersed in underground water wells for pumping and transporting water. It is widely used in agricultural drainage, industrial and mining enterprises, urban water supply and drainage, and sewage treatment. Due to the fact that electric motors dive into the water together, the structural requirements for electric motors are more specific than those for general motors. The structure of its electric motor can be divided into four types: dry, semi dry, oil filled, and wet.
