What Are The Models And Specifications Of Centrifugal Pumps

Leave a message

There are various models and specifications of centrifugal pumps, and the following are the main types:
1, Classified by structure
Single stage single suction centrifugal pump: This type of pump's water enters the impeller from the axial direction, with only one impeller. For example, BA, B-type single-stage single suction centrifugal pumps, IQ type single-stage single suction centrifugal pumps (light and small centrifugal pumps) are common models. IQ centrifugal pumps have a total of 84 products, divided into 3 derivative series and 413 specification models.
Double suction centrifugal pump: This type of pump receives water from both sides of the impeller, and the pump cover and body are assembled with horizontal seams, also known as a horizontally split centrifugal pump. Compared with single-stage single suction centrifugal pumps, it has higher efficiency, larger flow rate, and higher head. Common models include S-type, Sh type, SA type, SLA type, etc.
2, Classified by function
Self suction centrifugal pump: With self suction function, suitable for situations where liquid cannot be directly injected.
Mixed flow pump: Unlike traditional centrifugal pumps, mixed flow pumps have curved blades that allow fluid to move radially and axially when passing through the impeller, providing higher flow rate and lower head.
Magnetic centrifugal pump: driven by magnetic coupling to operate the impeller, it can avoid liquid leakage and environmental pollution, and is suitable for handling flammable, explosive, and toxic liquids.
Stainless steel centrifugal pump: The main components of the pump are made of stainless steel material, which has good corrosion resistance and wear resistance, and is suitable for handling corrosive liquids and high-temperature liquids.
3, Classified by flow rate, head, and power
Flow rate: The flow rate of a centrifugal pump is usually expressed in terms of the amount of water transported per unit time. Common specifications include 1 ton/hour, 5 tons/hour, 10 tons/hour, 50 tons/hour, 100 tons/hour, etc.
Head: The commonly used head specifications include 10 meters, 20 meters, 30 meters, 50 meters, 100 meters, etc.
Power: Commonly used power specifications include 0.5kW, 1.5kW, 5.5kW, 10kW, 30kW, etc.
In addition, there are various other sub types of centrifugal pumps, such as multi-stage centrifugal pumps, centrifugal pumps with blade adjustment devices, turbine pumps, etc., each type has its specific application scenarios and performance characteristics.
Please note that the selection of centrifugal pump models and specifications should be based on specific conveying needs and scenarios to ensure that the selected pump type can meet the requirements of working conditions and achieve efficient and stable operation.
