There are many brands of deep well submersible pumps on the market, and the quality varies. Therefore, it is very important to choose deep well submersible pumps. The correct selection will greatly improve work efficiency, enable deep well submersible pumps to play practical effects, reduce unnecessary waste, and save production costs. Therefore, the following is a comprehensive consideration point when choosing deep well submersible pumps.
1. The deep well submersible pump shall be selected according to the allowable mining output of the water source well, and the specification and model of the deep well submersible pump shall be determined according to the water inflow of the water source well, so as to determine the reasonable structure of the water source well;
2. The diameter of the deep well pump must match the diameter of the wellbore. In order to ensure the smooth operation of the deep well pump, there is space for groundwater to quickly collect during pumping, without resistance, and to reduce the wear and tear of the pump during operation, it is required that the diameter of the lifting pipe and pump body should be greater than the maximum diameter of the pump body by 20-40 mm, that is, the annular gap between the pump body and the wellbore should be 10-20 mm, in order to extend the service life of the water well and deep well submersible pump;
3. Select a deep well pump based on the total head loss. The diameter, head (number of stages), and power of a deep well submersible pump should be selected based on the total head loss required to lift groundwater from the pump head to the surface water pool or tower.
The water pressure increases proportionally with the number of impellers flowing through it. The impeller of a deep well pump works when immersed in water, with only a head and no suction. The rated head should not differ too much from the actual operating head of the water pump, and must not exceed 25% of the actual head.
The high head of the water pump requires a large motor power, which can easily cause the water pump to have a large upstream string. Mild cases may cause wear on the impeller and blade casing, while severe cases may result in the bearings inside the casing (playing a limiting role) sticking to the pump coupling, causing the water pump to malfunction and the motor overload winding to burn out.
4. The submersible multistage pump shall be selected according to the maximum allowable mining output of the water source well. The pump capacity must be consistent with the actual water inflow in the well. The pump capacity must be equal to or slightly less than the actual mining output of the water source well. Otherwise, it is bound to generate strong pumping, which will not only shorten the service life of the deep well submersible pump, but also will destroy the filter screen in serious cases, resulting in continuous sand gushing, or even the abandonment of the well.
5. The pump head of a deep well submersible pump should never be placed in the filter tube (flower tube) position. It must be placed in the wall tube (solid tube) position of the well, otherwise sand will burst continuously or the well will be damaged during pumping.
Based on the electrical logging curve of the borehole, both parties A and B shall determine the well completion structure (diameter, diameter, and actual pipe position), well completion depth, and water pump selection based on the hydrogeological conditions (depth, thickness, and lithology of the aquifer) of the well and adjacent water source wells, as well as the operation of the water pump, to ensure that there are no problems during the operation of the pump and water pump in the future.
